- Tuan graduated from the VNU-HCM University of Science in 2015 with a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering, specializing in Micro-Electronics and IC Design.

He has over 20 years of experience in R&D on IC across the transmission and switching sectors, including SONET/SDH, PDH, packet protocols, TDM and packet pseudowires, and machine learning at Next Level Communications (acquired by Motorola later) and Arrive Technologies (acquired by Inphi and Marvell later).
- Before that, he worked as an instructor at the University of Communications and Transport, specializing in digital switching systems and digital design lab.
